For more than thirty years, Solar 2000 has been the sole agent for the TIEFENBACH range of magnetic switches and permanent magnets in South Africa. The TIEFENBACH magnetic switches are available in automatic reset (impulse action) and two position (latching action). The advantages of this equipment are remote operation through permanent magnets with switching distances of 7mm – 300 mm and more. There are no movable parts and no maintenance is necessary. The TIEFENBACH magnetic switch can operate in temperatures ranging from -20ºC up to + 300ºC and has a life cycle of 109 operations.

Applications range from high speed winder controls to general limit switch use. There are unlimited applications where tampering with mechanical or proximity switches, whether through human intervention or for environmental reasons, will cause failure.
